Ajay Adiseshan

Founder and CEO

Ajay Adiseshan is the Founder and CEO of our Company.

In his current role, he is, among others, responsible for the strategy, planning and growth of the Company along with cultivating and maintaining investor relationships.

He is also responsible for leading product innovation and overseeing the Company’s functionalities to reach its targets. He holds a bachelor’s degree in science (electrical engineering) from the University of Colorado Boulder, USA.

He is an entrepreneur with experience in building technology companies such as Coruscant Tec Private Limited, and Web Resource Private Limited, a web development company.

An avid runner, he is also a big fan of Indie music which he listens to on his favourite app-NPR music.

Vishvanathan Subramanian

CFO & Director

(Ravi) Vishvanathan Subramanian is the Whole-time Director and the Chief Financial Officer of our Company.

He joined our Company on May 1, 2007. In his current role in our Company, he is, among others, responsible for collaboration between various departments across the Company to ensure synergy in operations.

He manages the operational, financial and risk management activities along with overseeing the legal and financial compliances of the Company. He holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from University of Bombay, and is a qualified chartered accountant.

Prior to joining our Company, he had been associated with Hrishikesh Vishvanathan & Associates, Chartered Accountants as a partner.

Ravi is a sports buff who loves distance running and playing soccerd consulted on corporate, strategic, financial and legal issues to some of the biggest businesses in India.

Rakesh Khanna

Chief Commercial Officer

Armed with strong experience of over 2 decades across the financial services industry, Rakesh more recently led Business solutions for Visa for the CEMEA region for 7 years including leading business payments for Europe from Oct 2016-May 2018.

Prior to visa Rakesh worked in Standard Chartered Bank for a decade leading global products and solutions for the corporate bank including lending, Asset backed finance and Trade finance. Rakesh started his career with GE Capital in India in Sales and then held variety of roles in the US & UK spanning sales,relationship management, Six Sigma (Black belt certified) and Lean.

Rakesh is a sports enthusiast and loves playing racket sports and has been a national level badminton player as well. In addition Rakesh loves to travel with friends and family.

Sanjit Bose

Global Head of Solutions and Partnerships

Sanjit offers 18 years of experience across financial services in the Asia Pacific and North America. He was recently the SVP, of Customer Experience at Boost Payments in NYC. Prior to that Sanjit held leadership roles with Amex & Visa. He has in-depth experience in Commercial Product, Merchant payments and Sales in his previous roles.

Sanjit was a national-level soccer player and now enjoys playing squash. He considers himself an amateur chef and in his free time, he enjoys outdoor activities and travelling with his family.

Ashutosh Verma

SVP - Product Management

Ashutosh has over 22 years of experience in leading products from their conceptualization to launch phase across diverse platforms. At PayMate, he heads and leads the product management team, while simultaneously contributing to business development, strategic alliances, customer acquisition & retention.

In his free time, Ashutosh loves to spend time with his kids and enjoying music.

Sadanand Moily

SVP - Compliance & Risk

Sadanand heads compliance and risk at PayMate. With a deep understanding of financial models, risk assessment, regulatory requirements, and a keen eye for detail, Sadanand keeps a watchful eye on our business. A Chartered Accountant by training, he has 10+ years of experience in various industries, including 8 years in financial services and technology.

Sadanand follows Cricket and Formula One Racing with a passion.

Mahesh Sharma

SVP - Information Systems & Security

Mahesh is armed with over 25 years of experience. He heads & lead the Information Technology and Information Security at PayMate. His core competencies are in Program/Project Management, Enterprise Information Security framework, IT Security Governance structure, large scale operations management, IT Compliance & Risk Management, Change Leadership, Vendor management and Team building.

Before joining us, he was a part of global leaders such as IBM, Enron, VFS, among others. In his free time, he enjoys exploring new places.

Nanda Harish

General Counsel, CS and Compliance officer

Nanda is a seasoned award-winning Fintech, Payments, AML and Privacy legal counsel with 20 years of deep knowledge and leads the legal and corporate secretarial role for PayMate. Her expertise lies in Strategic Legal Advisory, Investor Relations, Legal Risk Mitigation, Business Compliance, Ethics and Corporate Governance.

In her free time, she works with Non-profits which supports destitute women and she also dabbles in painting Mandala art.

Tushar Pant

SVP - Engineering

With over 21 years of engineering expertise, Tushar has spearheaded innovative solutions, technological advancements, and complex project executions. Leading PayMate's Engineering Department, his strategic vision fosters a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Tushar leverages cutting-edge technologies for efficiency, product quality, and overall success.

In his previous role, Tushar held a prominent position at Wipro Digital, where he spent 11 years building and leading high-performing engineering teams.

Outside work, Tushar is a physique enthusiast. He loves playing badminton and spending time with his family. These pursuits not only provide balance to his life but also contribute to his holistic approach to problem-solving and creativity.

Nilesh Dadpe

SVP - South Asia Business

Nilesh heads the Enterprise & SME business acquisition and servicing for the South Asia. Furthermore, he is also responsible for managing all card issuer bank relationships for the company, along with anchoring important business partnerships.

In his free time, he pursues cricket, music and singing as his hobbies other than being associated with a couple of social causes.

Pooja Chauhan

VP Human Resources

Pooja has 15 plus years of experience in HR. She has held multiple leadership positions in HR across different industries. She is passionate about creating a workplace where employees feel nurtured, valued and are able to work towards realising their potential while enabling business growth. At PayMate, she is responsible for global HR portfolio that includes strengthening HR systems & processes, leadership development, culture building and overseeing business expansion/growth across different regions outside India.

In her free time she loves to spend time with her kids and travel.

Roopali Kagalwala

VP - Marketing

Roopali Kagalwala is an accomplished marketing professional with 17+ years of experience primarily in the Fintech industry. As VP of Marketing at PayMate, she oversees Corporate Communications, Product Marketing, Growth, and Digital Marketing functions across India, CEMEA, and APAC regions.

Holding an MBA in Marketing and certified in Digital Marketing, Roopali is known for her dynamic leadership and expertise in crafting winning marketing strategies that drive business growth. Her consistent efforts have yielded remarkable year-over-year growth, cementing her reputation as an effective marketing leader. Passionate about innovation, she co-creates and executes cutting-edge marketing plans to navigate the new era's challenges successfully.

Amirreza Sawal

Regional Head - APAC

Amir is a commercial business leader with over a decade of experience in B2B corporate payments and financial services spanning across APAC, and MENA markets. Amir started his career at American Express Australia in Corporate business development before advancing to a consulting capacity for corporate payments at one of Australia’s largest banks, Westpac Institutional Bank. After a successful stint in corporate Australia, he broadened his market experience by arriving on the fintech scene in Singapore by spearheading a UK-based company, Invapay across APAC.

Most recently, Amir spent the last 4 years working for Visa in Dubai to drive commercial solutions for SMEs and Large Corporates across MENA, further developing his experience in emerging economies.

Amir is an avid sports fan and loves experiencing live sports events - boxing, basketball, and football. He is also big on travelling with family and loves new technology that makes the lives of everyday humans easier.

Rajat Yadav

Chief of Staff

Rajat is an IIT Madras Alumnus and the founder of the P2P lending platform - Z2P, which is now acquired by PayMate. He heads Credit at PayMate and is responsible for integrating Z2P's credit-intelligence with PayMate's business ecosystem to provide a full array of financial solutions to businesses.

An avid bike lover and collector, he is on the road traveling most days. Rajat is also one of the top digital influencers for entrepreneurs in India, currently mentoring and investing in small entrepreneurs to help them grow via his Youtube channel 'Startup Rajat'
